With panoramic views over Sydney Harbour, looking towards North Sydney, Café Birkenhead is a fabulous destination restaurant to visit for the best kind of gourmet breakfast or luncheon spread. All the better if a little shopping nearby is called for: energise beforehand with coffee and eggs, or wind down post-retail therapy with a freshly made salad, sandwich or burger. The beverage list is neat, well put together and includes a near perfect selection of cocktails and the service is professional and accommodating.
