While Bluewater Cafe rises with the sun and is all about sand between the toes, older sister Whitewater starts the day a little later and prefers dining in white linen with a strappy sandal. The chic beach house setting is a step above and a little more grown up. The beautiful space drinks in those same amazing views of Manly Beach, and any one of the excellent cocktails from the list will go down perfectly in this setting. Seafood features heavily on the modern Australian menu including tuna tatiki, seafood chowder, meaty king prawns or John Dory. However, there is plenty for carnivores such as osso buco, porchetta and pork ribs. Staff are smart, well briefed and accommodating and the wines on offer are tasty drops from Australian producers that are very well priced. To dine at Whitewater is beachside chic at its best.
