OVERVIEW
Diners on Church Street, Parramatta have had a ten-year love affair with Sicilian. The restaurant is a vast dining space with the capacity to accommodate 350 people. But in spite of the size, the space remains warm, welcoming and is in no way cavernous. Many families come here to enjoy a large-scale celebrations but fear not, there are nooks and spaces for intimate dates. The terracotta floor and burnt yellow and orange tones evoke the beautiful isle of Sicily and the dining will take your tastebuds there. Meals are simple, rustic and honest and are made with the freshest of ingredients. The menu is broad but not overwhelming. There are plenty of pastas tumbled in rich and warming sauces or tossed lightly with freshly caught seafood. There is a good selection of vegetarian options, both for pasta and pizza, and gluten-free pizza bases are also available. With food like this, a great wine list and meticulous staff, it is easy to understand the success of this Sicilian story.
