The venture by one of Melbourne’s favourite chefs, Donovan Cooke, the term 'ryne' means a course continuously moving onwards. At this clever restaurant it denotes the ever-changing menu, which keeps things fresh and interesting, and the kitchen consistently impresses with technical expertise and meticulous attention to detail. Looking to France for inspiration, the menu is a most excellent adventure in gastronomy. Likewise, the wine list is populated with many European samples of gorgeousness but there are also some local favourites to be enjoyed. Service staff are smart, work tightly and swiftly around the room, and the good looking dining room is something quite splendid.
