Set on the inlet in Cairns, Far North Queensland, Ochre Restaurant is an exciting culinary destination for Australian and international diners. Ochre uses the freshest local and native produce to create unique, modern and exciting dishes. Famous dishes include Salt and Pepper Prawn and Crocodile, Grilled Kangaroo with Quandong Chilli Glaze, Wattleseed Pavlova and an Australian Antipasto Plate which gives diners a delicious insight into native cuisine. You can experience green ants, emu and kangaroo and, for the less adventurous, there is still plenty to choose from, including prized premium beef from the nearby Atherton Tablelands. The desserts are an adventure all of their own, the dishes are affordable and the menu changes seasonally.
