Set in the Adelaide Hills, this restored 19th century villa is a charming stop off; be it for wine tasting, a casual bite to eat or a full degustation. The restaurant, Maximilian's, showcases the best flavours of the region from season to season. Much of the plated-up produce is sourced locally or grown and sometimes foraged for - on the estate itself. The menu is contemporary featuring South Australian seafood and premium cuts of beef. There are great vegetarian and vegan dishes on offer as well as plenty to feed the little people in your life. The wine list is a bounty of regional drops and includes varieties of the award-winning Sidedoor wines which you can also familiarise yourself with at the Cellar Door. An open fire and views over the vineyards make Maximilian's a place to settle into, any time of year.
