The sandstone cottage dates back to the 1830s and is where a young Banjo Paterson lived with his grandmother. Looking out over the Parramatta River, the cottage sits on five acres of stunningly landscaped gardens. Banjo Paterson Cottage serves up fine modern Australian cuisine, including freshly hauled oysters, scallops and tuna and mains which are big on flavour like chargrilled kangaroo, beef tenderloin or prosciutto wrapped chicken breast.
