This smart, intimate and atmospheric eatery in Hawthorn is a tidy fitout and a lovely place for quick dining izakaya-style. There are plenty of beautifully crafted Japanese plates to choose from - highlights include the grilled Hokkaido scallops, the marinated black cod finished with miso sauce and, of course, the excellent house sushi and sashimi. Upstairs tables are equipped with grills, so you and your party can cook your own marinated cuts of poultry, seafood, pork belly or beef. Delicious!
