OVERVIEW
Ambermere Inn is a destination restaurant. Located at the bottom of Mount Victoria, just near kids’ favourite The Lolly Bug, the historic sandstone cottage is like something from a magazine. Sitting on six acres, the views are expansive. Beautifully appointed with interior walls painted in inky tones, furnished with wooden fixtures and gorgeous bentwood chairs, it is worth making the trip for the insta-worthiness of the place alone. Built in the 19th century, the inn was the main stop for Cobb & Co, providing a place for travellers to eat and drink. Reinvigorated, the owners look local when it comes to produce, beers and wines. Settle in around an open fire for a glass of wine or settle in for a sophisticated and flavoursome meal showcasing the best seasonal produce from the region. Whether flying by or staying a while, be sure to experience all the goodness that this Little Hartley beauty has to offer.
